Orange County will host the 4TH annual Quad-County Business Summit on October 2, 2019 at Madison at the Mill, located at 323 N Madison Rd, Orange, VA 22960. Orange County Economic Development is working in collaboration with the Orange Chamber of Commerce, peer organizations in Fluvanna, Greene, and Louisa Counties and theCentral Virginia Small Business Development Center.
The Summit is intended to bring together businesses from the four-county region for a half-day of networking and educational programs, with various speakers covering a vast range of topics. Check-in and an opportunity to visit the Business Resource Fair begin at 11:00am, followed by lunch; those with dietary restrictions should email their food limitations to Rose Deal at email@example.com. The Quad County Business Summit is FREE for businesses located in any of the four counties to attend.
This year's Summit will include a pitch competition. The Quad Tank Pitch Competition will offer entrepreneurs from the four localities a funding opportunity to take their business ideas to the next level. Participating individuals or teams must have a business idea or an existing business located in, or be residents of, Greene, Orange, Louisa, or Fluvanna counties. Participants will be allotted a maximum of five (5) minutes to pitch their idea or concept and five (5) minutes for Q&A with the judges. The winning individual or team will be awarded a cash prize to be used to implement their business plans.
