Orange County is Retail Ready

Around Town Scavenger Hunt - August 6, 2021- October 3, 2021 

The Orange County Office of Economic Development and Tourism is pleased to host the First Annual Around Town Scavenger Hunt. The event will begin Friday, August 6, 2021, and conclude on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Players will follow photo clues from the event flyer to locate ten (10) architectural details around the downtown areas of Gordonsville and Orange. Six (6) lucky winners will be randomly drawn and awarded a $50 gift card. Grab a friend and your walking shoes and start scavenging! Once you locate each of the objects, write their location on the entry form, and submit your completed form by October 4, 2021, to  Download your entry form today or pick one up at the Visitor Centers in the Town of Orange and Town of Gordonsville.

Welcome to the Orange County Business Directory!  This digital directory connects local businesses with visitors and residents from your computer or mobile device.  

We invite all businesses to create and update a FREE profile by going to  Once subscribed, businesses can showcase their offerings by listing services offered, menu items, hours of operation, website, social media links, promotions, photo galleries, and more. The digital directory will help businesses promote their services and maximize exposure to new and existing customers.  Businesses are encouraged to create their profile and manage it regularly with relevant content.

This year has been different, and we know things have been confusing. As we work together to navigate this "new normal," we won't be able to predict everything, but we can show our support for some of the incredible small businesses here in Orange County. 

From hand sanitizer to masks to social distancing,  local businesses are following the necessary protocols and are ready to welcome back customers safely.
